[Kale hadn't been pleased when he had smelled someone wandering into his territory. Strangers weren't welcome and frankly, he thought other nagas would know better than to cross him by now.

He wasn't particularly violent unless he had to be. But if he wanted to be left alone and respected, taking care of his territory was key. When he finally tracked down the source of the new smell he hid by the tall bushes and trees, observing. That...wasn't a naga.]

[ The demon had been wandering around these forest for a while now, looking for a way out. He had been on his way back from his assignment, when he had to avoid tracker-demons, looking for him. Wouldn't have been any good if he got captured after making sure they didn't get him.

But now he was in this giant forest, wings shrunken, because otherwise they would just get in the way. It would have been easier to fly up and out of the forest, but then all his work to loose his followers would have been for naught.

Still... he hadn't seen much while walking through the forest, not even lesser demons, which... usually wasn't all that good. It was just a sign that he was probably somewhere, where he shouldn't be, maybe another demons territory? Not that Yuri would make it easy for anyone.

His slightly pointed ears twitched and he frowned in the direction he thought he heard a noise from. ]

The emerald scaled naga stood still, not making any sound or even breathing. He knew he was not visible from where he was standing, at least he shouldn't be to those creatures with normal eyesight. He wasn't all that sure about the newcomer, Kale had never seen anyone like this before.

His eyes narrowed as though considering something. Kale's tail, so long it poured over branches and could crush trees with ease, slithered through the grass slowly. It approached the stranger from behind. There was a particular sound to the grating of scales against he ground and Kale expected the creature to notice, to get distracted by the tip of the tail and fail to see him approaching from the other side. He was in a playful mood.

The demon did have a better eyesight than normal humans would have, but that didn't mean he actually saw the predator lurking in the shadows of the trees, because his gaze was still in an entire different direction. He frowned, because he was sure that he was being watched. The feeling prickling in the back of his neck. Though, he didn't want to actually call that someone out of hiding. Not knowing if it's maybe one of the guys chasing him. If it's a wild animal, he would be able to handle himself without a problem.

If it's one of his chasers... he wouldn't want them to know that he knew they were watching him.

His ears twitched when he heard a grating sound on the floor of the forest and he couldn't help and turn in the direction of the noise. Claws growing in anticipation of an attack, even if he still couldn't see anything.

Kale saw his chance and he wasn't going to let it go to waste. The moment the creature turned his face towards the noise he was already on the move. For someone so large, tha naga sure was quick. When you had no legs, either you knew how to maximize your movements or you ended being someone's breakfast, after all.

He appeared behind Yuri, hands reaching to grab his upper arm and keep him in place as his teeth sunk into the demon's neck. The bite was not strong enough to end him, Kale used the minimum dose of venom to paralyse rather than kill.

Or at least, that was the effect he was hopping to get.

It's been too long since Caesar went out to hang with a friend, so Kale is helping him fix that. By sitting in a round booth with a pitcher of good beer between them. Tadashi said he'd pick them up if they couldn't fetch themselves some way home.

Caesar's just sipping from his first glass, grinning at Kale, "So did I do a good job at picking it out?"

Far too long for Kale as well. He liked spending time with Caesar, he man was smart and funny, and both had a certain fondness for bad jokes and terrible puns. He felt relaxed and context as he took a drink of his own beer before answering.

"No, bad not bad. You always had good eye and good taste for certain things. Drinks, music, men...how is everything going?"

Caesar laughs at that and shakes his head. "I'm not sure about the music part, but I can't argue against the drink and men part. Although really just one man."

He leaned back in his seat, looking very pleased. "And it's going very well."

"Ah, but the man that counts, at that."

Kale had his own man, long time ago, and to this day he hadn't found another as special as Percy. He had given up on that but he was always cheered up by the view of happy couples.

"What level of well are we talking about here...?" He raised and eyebrow, grinning at Caesar. "Naked level of well? That was your concern the last time we talked."

"I can't argue with that," Caesar was all smiles as he took another drink.

Caesar didn't know the details. But he knew that something had happened in his past to someone he loved. All that Caesar could do was hope he found someone else or was somehow reunited with his lost lover.

"We haven't done anything complicated yet, but we've definitely gotten used to touching each other. A lot." Caesar's cheeks grew slightly pink. "And a lot of rolling around. It's been... Really nice. He makes the best noises, and I love causing them."

Kale made himself comfortable in the seat, as relaxes as he could get, which was...a whole lot. He liked Caesar, the boy was good company, and he wasn't shy about talking about certain subjects.

"That's good enough. You need to feel comfortable with each other first, I know I am being repetitive but it's important." Kale chuckles at the last comment. "Noises, uh? I had once a partner that purred."

The fact that Caesar was no longer shy about certain subjects was partially Kale's fault, among others. He still had his limits, but in the right company, his limits were a lot less. As Kale relaxed, so did Caesar.

"It's important enough that it stands to be repeated," Caesar shrugged before raising an eyebrow. "Purred? Like an actual cat?"

He would be happy to know that. A healthy sex life is good for the spirit and the body, Kale was a very positive person in that regard.

"You might have down something well after all." His expression turned into a playful teasing look. "And yes, like a cat. He was Tryan, they're not human, so I shoudl have expected that."

"I'm good at enough," Caesar admitted with an amused shrug.

A thought occurred to him and then he started to laugh. "That's amazing--I can imagine being able to purr would be great for blowjobs!"

Kale almost chocked on his drink, just generally amused at the idea.

"It is. Growling does wonders too. Oh! and humming. Honestly, try humming one day." It been a while since Kale was with a non human partner but those always left him with the best stories to tell.

"And never date a werewolf, they shed fur everywhere."

Caesar meant for him to almost choke, and couldn't help but grin wide when Kale nearly did.

"Any sort of vibration works," Caesar nodded in agreement, leaning back against the back of the booth. "Although we're not up to that yet. It'll be nice when we finally are."

You are terrible, Caesar. Never change, please.

"Yup." It didn't take Kale much to realize that when he was a teen and that got him thinking. He was much younger than Caesar when all started but different worlds meant different way to do things.

"Is your boyfriend still worried or you just like to take your time? Both reasons are valid of course, I'm just curious."

Don't worry, Kale. Caesar won't change. He'll grow to be a better person, but his sense of humor will still be as it is now.

It also helped that Kale figured out his sexuality a lot sooner while Caesar suppressed his. Although it would be accurate to say he was mostly straight with just an inclination to fall in love with the right guy.

Caesar started laughing. "Actually--we just never get a chance to try! We make out like rabbits, get busy, and then, well." He shrugged. "Then we're done!"
