Yeah... Guess I lucked out a lot with my Mum. We lost my Dad when I was just a baby but she never really faltered much. Emotionally anyway.

[As for how the Doctor processes thing... Poorly. He doesn't. He runs away and has adventures... which you know... Rose loves, but she knows it's not incredibly healthy and things do tend to catch up eventually if you let them.] He's not human, yeah, but he admires humans a lot because of that kind of thing. He tries to throw himself into the next adventures. Something I worry about here since that's not as easy to do, and downtime for him can quickly become dark.
