[So did Kale and got them by pure luck when he was 15 years old. Life is strange and wonderful like that.]

Of course, I wouldn't mind at all. It could be fun.

[He's a romantic at heart, even if he might not look like it at first.]

Everyone's weird in their own way. Some people just a bit more than others. [And to make his point more obvious, Kale makes his cat ears more as he smiles.]

It sounds very powerful if you ask me. Thank you! It was nothing spectacular or wild which, in retrospect, it's what I like the most. We started talking one day and realized that we both had families with similar backgrounds. Things happened from there. He also had our ups and downs.

No, it's okay. This is not the first time someone wanted to do that. I'm actually a normal human, I just got cursed by a witch. I have a tail now too. A religious order? That is often troublesome.

Long story short? Back home my partner and me were trying to stop a witch that was turning people into animals. She tried to turn me into a cat but the curse didn't take fully. Hence the ears and tail.

He got threatened by cat-nuns. And that is even weirder than it sounds.

It's even why I named my cat from Death None. Pun on it.

I'm keeping an eye on Adrien and Chat Noir for a few days. Adrien just needs a place to hide out and calm down after everything. I'm still going to discuss with the Doctor what we're going to tell Gabriel and how, but don't worry, he couldn't be safer for now. Not that Gabriel likes or trusts me much, and I'm sure this won't help, but it's better than having him somewhere unknown, yeah?

Confidential, sorry. But I'm going to putting a rush on adding more space to where we stay. Never expected a place twice the size of my mum's flat to start feeling smaller and more cramped than it. [Then again, twice the people + two cats & a pair of vampire bunnies so eh... Still, she can tell that the TARDIS proper has spoiled her.]

Because when I was a teen I ran away from home with my older boyfriend, missed my A-levels, couldn't go be a nurse because of it, and Nautilus being different or not, I've no desire to see that happen to someone else. And... home is kind of... It's a fortress hidden in plain sight. It would take a very big reason for me to stay somewhere else. It's the safest place in the universe against just about anything. I'd tell you more about it, but... it's not my place to tell. The Doctor just lets me bring in strays. Because he's a sweetheart. And secretly likes people more than he lets on. But it's okay, I'm just used to... well, the Doctor's ship would make her own rooms. So it's a little strange without her.

Apparently I have a very "I'll fight you" attitude according to Adrien. And the Doctor. Who said he likes it. [KYAA KYAA!]

I left my home when I was fifteen after a fight with my father too and never came back. I do too, know how all this is. Fine, I don't like this but I trust your judgement and I know the Doctor only has everyone's best interest in mind.

That's why it's confidential, for now, at least until we figure it out. But thanks for telling me Kale, I knew I could trust you. I was lucky enough to be able to come back home after I ran away. Both times. Hopefully... I mean... my goal is to just give him enough time that he'll be ready to go back when he wants to.

Are things with you and Gabriel still tense?

Okay, if you are sure it's best this way when I'll leave it up to you. I think the issue is that Adrien is always the one who has to come back. This time, Gabriel will have to make a real effort.

They're kind of so-so, but that's expected.

Don't worry, I already talked to Adrien and I won't tell Gabriel anything too specific. Adrien didn't tell me where he was staying because he didn't want to put me in a position where I had to lie to his father.

[Not like that was an issue for Kale. He would lie if needed, he's a very pragmatic individual.]

He did manage to get married to a beautiful woman, if Adrien's look are any indication, Gabriel might have done something right.

That's what Adrien told me. But the kid also lost her and it's not fair for Adrien to have to deal with that and having his father becomes even more distant as time goes by.

The Doctor's loss was much worse but he's also not human. Do you know if he processes pain the same way we do? Besides, everyone's grief is different.
